First responders were called at around 4 p.m. to the 9800 block of Cedar Hollow Lane in Largo, where crews were met by flames and smoke coming from the roof and top story of a multi-level home.

According to a spokesperson from the Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department, firefighters had to contend with the house fire, as well as two additional outside blazes, which were declared controlled by 5 p.m. on Sept. 28.

Searches were negative, officials say.

The cause and origin of the fire are now under investigation.

This is a developing story.
